First Wheelchair Motorcross JAM 2019

When
24 March
Where
Adrenaline Alley Skate Park, 6 Priors Haw Rd, Corby, NN17 5PH

Wheelchair Motorcross (WCMX) is a new and exciting para-sport that involves taking your wheelchair to the skatepark and doing tricks on it.

The first UK WCMX Jam is set to be held at Adrenaline Alley Urban Sports Venue in Corby, Northamptonshire on Sunday 24 March from 8am to 12 noon.

The aim of the Jam is to get people of any age together that want to experience riding at Europe’s largest indoor venue. Participants will need to bring with them suitable safety equipment such as gloves, elbow and knee pads, a helmet and their own wheelchair will need to be mechanically sound.

Roma Sport who are sponsoring the the event will be bringing a few demo WCMX chairs to try on the day.

Spotters and pushers will be available on the day to assist riders. All riders must become members of Adrenaline Alley - it's simple and free to sign up! Just head to www.AdrenalineAlley.co.uk. Riders will also need to complete the registration sign-up form and athlete pack. Please email Mike Rice prior to the event to receive and complete these forms.

On the day Adrenaline Alley will be launching their VR experience where you can experience Lily Rice World No 2 and Toyota WCMX Team Rider drop the biggest Vert Ramp in Europe. This VR experience is a world first for a Urban Sport Venue that aims to be more inclusive and accessible in the Future.
