DSActive Tennis Coach Education workshop

DSActive is a programme run by the Down’s Syndrome Association (DSA). It aims to provide as many opportunities as possible for people with Down’s syndrome to lead active and healthy lives.
The workshop provides information on Down’s syndrome as a condition, myths and truths, terminology, learning profiles, behaviour and how best to adapt a session to suit the needs of someone with Down’s syndrome.
The workshop is fully LTA accredited and you will get three CPD points for attending. The workshop is aimed at coaches, assistant coaches, volunteers and anyone involved in disability tennis.
When: Wednesday 19 February 2020
Time: 10am until 1pm (2 hours in a classroom, 1 hour on court)
Venue: White Horse Leisure and Tennis Centre, Audlett drive, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, OX14 3PJ
Cost: £30 per learner
Clothing: Please wear comfortable clothing which is suitable for coaching and playing tennis.
