Active Hyde is part of Hyde's Leisure Poocomplex, offering a fun family water attraction, as well as a 49-piece fitness suite, cycle studio, thermal spa and Fuel café, all under one roof.

Active Hyde is a leisure facility that offers a wide range of accessible fitness activities. The entrance area is fitted with a low-level reception desk and has hearing loops, and on the ground floor there are accessible changing facilities and a welcoming café. This is also where the leisure pool is situated, which offers accessible general swim sessions, disability swimming lessons, Wally Walrus family sessions and pool features including bubbles, white water rapids, a wave machine and beached entry. A hoist is also available for use.

There is an accessible lift to take you up to the first floor, where you will find a fitness suite with 49 stations and wheelchair friendly resistance machines. The thermal spa can also be accessed from this floor, featuring a sauna, steam room, snail shower, hot beds and a seating area.

Active Hyde also offers GP referral activity sessions, run by the Live Active team. The sessions are for people with long term health conditions who are currently inactive, and include a tailored physical activity programme and support to help people become more active within their day to day life. In addition to this, the Everybody Can service runs respite sessions at the pool as part of their Supported Services programme.
