England Golf's governance team work across the business ensuring that the highest standards of governance are achieved and maintained. This role will support the Head of Legal, Lead Safeguarding Officer and Safeguarding Case Officer. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to support a National Governing Body for Amateur Golf in a wide range of activities. The ability to be highly organised and manage priorities appropriately is essential. Applicants will need a wide understanding of English law and the legal system. Dealing with sensitive and confidential information you will need to have a high level of integrity and trust with excellent written and spoken communication skills. You will need the ability to build and sustain relationships with colleagues across the business at a range of levels and external customers. You must be IT literate. 

You will contribute to ensuring that the highest standards of governance are achieved and maintained; that all safeguarding, compliance and disciplinary matters are managed appropriately; that all reasonable and appropriate legal and governance support to golf facilities and county bodies is provided; and that all legal issues affecting the organisation are managed appropriately.

The position is full-time and based at England Golf Headquarters at Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire.
