LTA is now recruiting for a Participation Support Team Leader to join the Participation Team based at the National Tennis Centre, Roehampton, London.
The LTA is the National Governing Body for tennis in Great Britain, Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, and is responsible for developing and promoting the sport while safeguarding the integrity of tennis. The vision for the LTA is “tennis opened up”; and the mission for all those involved in delivering this vision to grow tennis by making it relevant, accessible, welcoming and enjoyable.
Participation Support Team Leaders (PSTL) manage the performance of a team of Participation Support Assistants (PSA’s), providing direction, guidance and support with the intention of motivating them to deliver remarkable service and to exceed customer expectations in all areas of their work.
Participation Support Team Leaders work with their teams to achieve the team’s personal targets which feed into the business targets and ensure that performance is delivered to the required standard, alongside supporting delivery of the LTA strategy of tennis opened up.
This role requires excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to liaise and communicate with people at all levels; people management skills, flexibility and strong organisational and IT skills.
