Wheelchair rugby league season reaches thrilling climax

The Bonus Arena at the KC Stadium in Hull will play host to the climax of the Wheelchair Rugby League season this Sunday (September 15).

Three teams – Halifax, Mersey Storm and Bury Jigsaw – will take to the court as they face-off in a round-robin format to decide the National Championship. RFL Competition Manager Jim Shuttleworth, said:

“It promises to be a great afternoon of Wheelchair Rugby League action with all three sides desperate to claim the title. Wheelchair Rugby League is fast moving and dynamic sport that calls for unbelievable levels of physical and mental strength. I’d urge everyone to get along and watch.”


The draw to confirm the order of play for the day will be made on Sunday morning before the games start at 12.10pm.
