Safeguarding Adults in Sport Lead Officer workshops – October 2018

This Autumn the Ann Craft Trust, a national charity which exists to minimise the risk of abuse of disabled children and adults at risk, will be hosting meetings in the North, South and Midlands. These are for Lead Safeguarding Officers from National Governing Bodies (NGBs), County Sports Partnerships (CSPs), and other national sport and physical activity organisations.

The purpose of the sessions is to bring the agenda of Safeguarding Adults out to sport organisations, CSPs and NGBs. The Ann Craft Trust will give you all the latest guidance and best practice, sector up dates, support, direction and training, as well as addressing your areas of concern.

The dates, times and locations of the meetings can be found below. Each meeting has limited capacity and it is advised to book a place and confirm your attendance quickly.

A final agenda will be circulated nearer the time and if there are any areas you would like to see discussed and included please email your suggestions.
