Active Gloucestershire- Inclusive Movement Training Course

Active Gloucestershire is running a course to guide attendees on how to deliver safe and inspiring inclusive movement based activity sessions to children and young people.

Participants can expect to cover the following topics:

  • What is inclusive practice?
  • Language and resources to support inclusive practice.
  • Strategies and approaches for working with Support Workers.
  • Practical tasks.
  • Opportunities for experience working with disabled participants.

This course is aimed at any individual who is coaching, leading or assisting with children’s movement-based activities (e.g. martial arts, physical theatre, dance). This course is for participants aged 16+.

The course content and delivery methods aim to increase participants’ confidence to deliver inclusive movement based activities in a range of settings.

Venue

Conservatory, Oxstalls Tennis Centre, Plock Court, Tewkesbury Road, Gloucester, GL2 9DW. Free parking available on site.
