Seeking a Secondary Teacher Training Programme Officer

Activity Alliance is a national charity, bringing members, partners and disabled people together to make active lives possible. Collectively, we continue to challenge perceptions and change the reality of disability, inclusion and sport. We work closely with a number of key partners to improve and increase the opportunities available to disabled people to enjoy sport and physical activity. We are seeking to appoint a part-time Programme Officer for a new Secondary Teacher Training programme.

Sport England has commissioned Activity Alliance to support the delivery of Secondary Teacher Training. This programme will make a significant contribution to creating a healthier and more active nation. It will increase the number of young people, aged 11 to 18, who have a positive experience and perception of sport and physical activity.

Activity Alliance are looking to appoint a part-time Programme Officer to help fulfil our key responsibilities in relation to this programme. This represents an exciting opportunity to be working alongside sector leaders in challenging and developing the way in which secondary schools value and deliver PE and school sport.

The role will need you to be able to demonstrate strong administration and communication skills, be a great organiser and planner. You will be very confident in managing and analysing large databases.

You will be part of the dynamic, driven and innovative Activity Alliance team responsible for programme delivery.

Combined with your professional ability, you will have the enthusiasm to deliver and strengthen the organisation by helping to make active lives possible for disabled people.

This role is a fixed two-year part-time contract working three days a week. The salary is £14-16k (based on a full-time equivalent annual salary of £23-26k).

Location: Sport Park, Loughborough or remote working considered
