Take part in our disabled children and young people's survey

We believe disabled children and young people deserve the same opportunities to be active as their non-disabled peers. Activity Alliance is undertaking research into the experiences and perceptions of physical activity among disabled children and young people.

If you are a parent or carer of a disabled child aged 5 to 16, Activity Alliance wants to hear from you. Please help us to understand yours and your child’s experience of sport and physical activity by completing an online survey.

We want to hear from people who have had good or bad experiences, and from those who are active and not active.

The survey will take around 15 minutes to complete. There are questions for you to answer as a parent or carer, and also some questions for your child.

Your answers will help us to shape the services and support we provide. We will also use the findings to advocate for change on a national level that enables more disabled children to be active.

As a thank you for taking part, there will be a prize draw for the chance to win 10 x £25 Amazon e-vouchers. The prize draw is open to people aged 18 and over, who provide their email address after completing the survey.

This survey is now closed, thank you for your responses.

If you have any questions about the research or need assistance to complete the survey, please contact Jessica Flavell, Activity Alliance Research and Evaluation Advisor. Email research@activityalliance.org.uk or call 0161 200 5442.
