New boccia club launches in Oldbury

A boccia club is launching at a leisure centre in Oldbury in the West Midlands this weekend. The club is part of the Paralympic and Special Olympics sports programmes.

Sandwell Leisure Trust is launching a new community Boccia club at Portway Lifestyle Centre from Saturday 18 January 2014. The sessions, in partnership with Boccia England and funded by Sportivate, will run each Saturday from 1-2pm and cost just £1.

Boccia is a target ball sport and is part of the Paralympic and Special Olympics sports programmes.
