Sport North Tyneside begin disability badminton taster sessions

Do you live in the North East? Are you a disabled person and interested in playing badminton? If so, then this could be the session for you!

Sport North Tyneside and BADMINTON England have set up sessions in the sport for disabled people across the region.

Where?

Hadrian Leisure Centre, St Peter’s Road, Wallsend

When?

Sundays 11.30 – 12.30

Sunday 2nd, 9th, 16th 23rd, 30th March, Sunday 6th April

Under 16’s £2.50 and Over 16’s £3.70 per session

One carer can play for free

Coaching will be provided by a Level 2 Badminton England Coach, with experience of coaching disabled people.

The badminton sessions are suitable for wheelchair users, amputees, those with impairments but can stand, individuals with short stature, those who are deaf and people with a Learning Disability.
