Register for Get Out Get Active’s impact and learning workshop

Join Activity Alliance’s Get Out Get Active (GOGA) programme as they host a virtual impact and learning workshop on Thursday 14 October at 10am. As part of the GOGA annual conference, the team is hosting an open workshop for GOGA partners, and sport, leisure, and community organisations/groups on the successes and learnings from the programme.

Since 2016, GOGA has supported disabled and non-disabled people to being active together. It aims to get some of the UK’s least active people moving more through fun and inclusive activities. Much of GOGA’s success comes from tapping into people’s motivations and values. The programme’s approach is underpinned by Activity Alliance’s Ten Principles – which help activity providers to deliver more appealing and accessible activities.

In this workshop you will hear from past and present GOGA partners, take a look at the GOGA approach, and explore how GOGA aims to leave a lasting legacy across the country. You will also enjoy an exclusive preview of GOGA’s brand-new learning resources which are being launched at the annual conference. Part of GOGA’s legacy work, these resources provide insight and learning that can be used by organisations to inform the delivery and investment of future activity programmes.

GOGA is made possible thanks to investment from Spirit of 2012, Sport England, and London Marathon Charitable Trust. In 2019, funders invested a further £5million into the programme to enable GOGA to reach and engage more people in inclusive activities until 2023. GOGA currently operates in 21 locations across the UK. Find out more on the GOGA website.
