The National Disability Sports Organisations (NDSOs) are a good starting point for many deaf and disabled people who want to be more active. They provide advice, support, and opportunities for people of all ages with specific impairments to take part in sport and activity.

Dwarf Sports Association UK – 28 March 2022 

DSAuk to host second introduction to air target shooting session in April (opens in a new window) 
Following the success of the first session in January, Dwarf Sports Association UK (DSAuk) will host another introduction to air target shooting session for people with physical impairment aged 11 years and older.

WheelPower - 29 March 2022

WheelPower to host free Healthy Living Day event in May (opens in a new window)
Join WheelPower for their first Healthy Living Day at Stoke Mandeville on Saturday 21 May 2022. Supported by Sport England and delivered in partnership with the National Disability Sports Organisations, this event will bring disabled people and their favourite online instructors together to exercise and learn about how to live healthier and more active lifestyle.

Special Olympics GB – 24 March 2022 

How a Special Olympics GB World Games gold medallist went from swimming to poolside as a Head Coach (opens in a new window) 
Daniel, from Swansea, is an extraordinary young man whose journey with Special Olympics GB is a true example of how opportunities presented through sport can transform lives.

UK Deaf Sport – 23 March 2022 

UK Deaf Sport reviews success of Deaf Active Online scheme (opens in a new window) 
UK Deaf Sport looks back at the development, delivery, and success of their Deaf Active Online scheme. Supported by Comic Relief, the scheme is leading the way in providing accessible online exercise sessions led by deaf trainers. Sessions include yoga, HIIT, running, weights and cardio.

British Blind Sport – 23 March 2022 

BBS, Metro Blind Sport, and Goalball UK team up for London inclusive sports day (opens in a new window) 
British Blind Sport (BBS), Metro Blind Sport and Goalball UK team up to deliver an inclusive sports day for blind and partially sighted people in London. Open to people of all ages, and their friends and family, the event includes activities such as football, goalball, athletics, and more.

LimbPower – 23 March 2022 

Spring into Action! – LimbPower’s supercharged virtual event for all the family (opens in a new window) 
LimbPower invites its community members, family, friends, and supporters to take part in a their supercharged virtual event – Spring into Action! The event invites you to sign up and complete a physical challenge of your choice in April, to mark Limb Loss and Limb Difference awareness month.  

CP Sport – 21 March 2022 

New videos highlight the importance of sport for people with cerebral palsy (opens in a new window) 
CP Sport launches a series of videos to mark CP Awareness month. The films bring to life the impact of sport for people with cerebral palsy, their families and those who are involved in making opportunities happen.
