Home Nations in action at final weekend of Football World Championships

England and Home Nations in action as the Cerebral Palsy Football World Championships draw to an exciting close this weekend at St George's Park.

After an intense two weeks of match action, the Cerebral Palsy World Football Championships 2015 reaches its climax this weekend.

St George’s Park plays host an array of Home Nations talent on Saturday 27 June with Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland joining hosts England in competition – who are looking to cement their place at the Paralympic Games in Rio next summer.

Tickets are still available to fans to come and be part of the biggest disability football event that the UK has ever seen at the impressive St George’s Park setting – which is home to the 24 England national teams.

Tournament director, Jeff Davies said:

'On Saturday you can expect to see some really close games because we’re getting into the business end of the tournament. And with Home Nations sides in action there will be plenty to cheer on – as players vie for spots in the GB team for next year.'

Jeff continues:

'Sunday will showcase the very best the world has to offer - and spectators will be truly impressed by the quality on show. It will be a great taster of what is in store at the Rio Paralympics next year.'
