Tickets for 2015 CPISRA World Games in Nottingham now on sale

Tickets for the 2015 CPISRA World Games in Nottingham are now on sale, the Cerebral Palsy International Sport and Recreation Association (CPISRA) has announced.

The Nottingham 2015 CPISRA World Games will take place in the heart of the historic city of Nottingham from 6 - 16 August 2015, with the majority of the competition taking place on the new iconic Harvey hadden Sports Complex.

The international competition is set to attract over 400 athletes from over 13 particpating nations competing in six sports: athletics (Racerunner and Slalom), bowls, football, swimming, para taekwondo and table cricket.

Tickets prices

Opening ceremony on Sunday 9 August and closing ceremony of Saturday 15 August:

  • £12 for adults
  • £6 for children (aged 16 and under)
  • Reduced rate for disabled people £6 (includes free carer place) 

Sporting events:

  • £8 for adults
  • £6 for children (aged 16 and under)
  • Reduced rate for disabled people £6 (includes free carer place)

The football event will also double as the Cerebral Palsy Football Under-19 World Championships, with the aim of the inaugural tournament being to give people with cerebral palsy the opportunity to take part in a world-class sporting event and achieve their potential.

The Opening Ceremony will take place on Sunday 9 August and will carry the theme of 'aspirations'. To detail the journey the athletes have made to be part of the World Games.

The Closing Ceremony will take place on Saturday 15 August and will focus on the 'transformations' the athletes have made at the games and their experiences of the 10-day event and their sporting achievements.
