Futures Spa and Fitness officially recognised as an Inclusive Fitness Mark Accredited Facility

More disabled people can enjoy the benefits of regular exercise in their local area, thanks to a gym near Uckfield, East Sussex. Futures Spa and Fitness has been officially recognised as an Inclusive Fitness Mark Accredited Facility by the English Federation of Disability Sport.

Futures Spa and Fitness is designed for people who may be limited in a traditional gym due to injury, mobility issues or physical impairments. It can be found at Chailey Heritage Foundation on the A272 road between Uckfield and Haywards Heath.

The gym’s instructor, with the support of a qualified physiotherapist, is able to offer personal training guidance which can help with rehabilitation or a means of adapting to a life-changing condition. The theraputic effects of the accessible spa bath and sauna can help reduce chronic pain, muscular aches and stress levels.

The facilities are available on a pay-as-you-use basis and there are monthly packages available to make the experience more cost-effective. A range of massage therapy services to help relieve muscle-ache, increase circulation and general well-being are also available with a wheelchair accessible salon, offering a variety of treatments including Indian Head Massage, Aromatherapy Massage, Hot Stones and more.
