Riding for the Disabled Association Gala Awards dinner announced

The Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) Gala Awards Dinner will take place at The Hotel Russell, London on 30 September 2014 with special guests Clare Balding OBE and ITV News Presenter Alastair Stewart OBE.

Sal Atkinson, RDA Fundraising and Events Manager, said:

“We are thrilled that Clare and Alastair are joining us for the RDA Gala Awards, to have their support is a huge boost for RDA. The outstanding achievements of RDA participants, volunteers, supporters and horses will be acknowledged during the evening  - giving us the chance to thank those who make what we do possible.”

Alastair Stewart OBE said:

“'Riding was a part of my childhood and is central to the lives of two of our children. What it offers disabled people - pleasure, excitement, comradeship, even therapy- is amazing. I am honoured to support RDA & greatly look forward to the event”.

The evening will also include a live auction of exclusive items including a VIP behind the scenes tour of the Spanish Riding School UK event, a private visit to Jonjo O’Neill’s training facility and gallops, plus a chance to visit the ITV News HQ in London and see the Evening News transmission from the control room.

Tickets can be reserved from RDA National Office at £130 each.
RDA also has sponsorship opportunities for partners and corporates who would like to support the event. Find out more at www.rda.org.uk
