Triumphant fundraisers cross the finish line at the Bupa Great North Run

15 EFDS fundraisers took on the mighty challenge of the Bupa Great North Run half marathon last Sunday.

Cited as the ‘world’s greatest half marathon’, our fundraisers joined the 56,000 runners as they pounded the streets of Newcastle, Gateshead and South Shields.

EFDS fundraiser John Somerville from Nationwide Building Society said:

“I had a fantastic day and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. Next stop: London Marathon!”
