See Hear Deaf Sport Special on BBC Two

On Wednesday 3 December BBC Two’s See Hear programme was all about deaf sport in the UK.

Presenter Memnos Costi joined two talented young deaf golfers on the fairway at the Leamington County Golf Club to work on his swing and get some top golfing tips.

UK Deaf Sport Vice Chairman, Stuart Harrison shared his thoughts on the future of deaf sport, and how deaf sports organisations need to work together to encourage more deaf and hear impaired people to participate and succeed in sport.

They also spent the day with deaf swimmer Danielle Joyce, following her demanding daily schedule of 5am starts, school lessons and training sessions, as she pursues new records in the pool.

UK Deaf Sport Honorary President, Craig Crowley MBE speaks with John Hay, reflecting on his experiences and career in deaf sport from a young age, and what the future holds for deaf sport in the UK.
