Sainsbury's Inclusive PE programme is a national training programme for PE teachers and school staff. It aims to improve the confidence and skills of education professionals to deliver a high quality PE curriculum for disabled children and young people.

Activity Alliance is running an ongoing evaluation project to understand the programme's impact in greater detail. We want to hear directly from children and young people about their experiences of PE at school. And, the changes they have felt or seen since their teacher took part in the inclusive PE training programme.

The research will be carried out by Platypus Research using qualitative and quantitive methods with workshop participants. Activity Alliance and Sainsbury's will use the results to showcase the programme's impact. This will include social media, website marketing and within funding reports.

How to get involved

We would like to encourage teachers who have completed in the Sainsbury's Inclusive PE Training programme to take part in the evaluation. We need your help to speak to school children about their experiences of PE.
