We All Belong – Belonging in action
We All Belong is our long-term strategy to create a future where all disabled people feel they belong in sports and activities. One year on from its launch, we’re celebrating the people, clubs, and organisations already making that future possible.
Centred around International Day of Disabled People (3 December 2025), we shine a light on belonging in action across sports and activities. Belonging isn’t just a word in our strategy - it’s something we build together.
Campaign information in Easy Read and British Sign Language translation formats are available at the bottom of this page.
Across the country, disabled people tell us how inclusion transforms confidence, connection, and wellbeing. Yet, inequalities persist:
- Disabled adults are almost twice as likely to be inactive as non-disabled adults (40.8% vs 20.7%).
- 8 in 10 (76%) disabled people would like to be more active.
- Only a quarter (25%) of disabled children take part in sport all the time at school, compared to 41% of non-disabled children.
These numbers highlight why belonging matters. When disabled people feel welcome, supported, and included, they are far more likely to take part and thrive.
Celebrate belonging with us
We are sharing stories of belonging in action from across our networks – moments where disabled people feel truly included, valued, represented. We’re also inviting organisations and individuals to show how they champion belonging and inclusion across social media using the hashtag #WeAllBelong.

The campaign also incudes the launch of our new supporter scheme - a free network for anyone who shares our vision and ambition for inclusion. Supporters receive updates, insight, and opportunities to get involved in national campaigns and change-making activity.
Join the movement - become a We All Belong supporter, and together we can ensure every disabled person feels like they belong in sports and activities.
