Supporting PE: An introduction for teaching assistants eLearning course

Specially designed for teaching assistants, this eLearning course will improve your confidence in supporting the delivery of inclusive PE and help you to create outstanding experiences for every pupil, regardless of their abilities.

What you'll learn 

This course will help you to: 

    • explain what inclusive practice is.
    • identify the role of TAs in supporting inclusive PE.
    • recognise the tools that can be used to create a more inclusive PE environment.
    • reflect on your own practice and identify opportunities to promote more inclusive PE experiences for the pupils you support.

Who is it suitable for?

Individuals supporting PE and school sport delivery and those supporting specific pupils taking part in PE:

  • Teaching assistants
  • Higher level teaching assistants
