Disability Sports Organisations and charities are a good starting point for many deaf and disabled people who want to be more active. They provide advice, support, and opportunities for people of all ages with specific impairments to take part in sport and activity.

Get Ready for the 2026 DSAuk National Games!
The DSAuk National Games promise a fantastic weekend of competition, fun, and camaraderie for all members with dwarfism. Athletes can take part in a wide variety of sports and activities, including Powerlifting, Athletics, Shooting, Cycling, Swimming, Team Sports, New Age Curling, and Balance Bike Races.
Special Olympics Great Britain – 10 February
Special Olympics Great Britain (GB) has today announced the full competition schedule for its 2026 National Summer Games - a nationwide celebration of inclusive sport that will give around 1,700 children and adults with an intellectual (learning) disability the chance to compete, belong and be seen on a national stage.

Following the launch of the Co-production Narrative, we’re excited to continue the conversation with a new webinar series designed to deepen understanding of co-production in practice. Co-production is important because it brings different people’s ideas together and embeds lived experience - making sure services, projects, and plans are shaped by the people who use them.
WheelPower
National Junior Sports Festival
WheelPower’s National Junior Sports Festival is a brand new event held at Stoke Mandeville Stadium, the birthplace of the Paralympic Movement. This new Festival is a great way for children with physical disabilities to discover sport in a safe, welcoming and friendly environment. The event will take place on Saturday 9 May from 9.30am – 8pm.
British Blind Sport
McDonald's Fun Football Sessions
We are delighted to be working with McDonald's Fun Football again this year to bring blind and partially sighted football sessions to various locations across the country for children aged 5-11.
Cerebral Palsy Sport
British Ice Skating are hosting more ice skating sessions with CP Sport as part of their Let's Skate Programme. The next one is Monday 9 March (1.20pm-2.20pm) in Sheffield. All abilities welcome! There are plenty of experienced coaches on hand to give support as well as frames to use on the ice. The venue is completely accessible and there is a chance for a drink catch up after the event in the cafe upstairs.
Disability Sports Coach
Everyone is invited to join our free weekly online sessions! Sessions are inclusive and adapted, so everyone can join in. Join Coach Melanie for dance on Wednesdays and Coach Michelle for yoga on Thursdays, both from 5pm – 5.30pm.

At Sense, we want every disabled person with complex needs to lead an active life. From Sensory Walks to rock-climbing or badminton, we’ve got a huge range of free activities, in-person and online, helping disabled people with complex needs to stay active.
