Jayant has been an important part of the Activity Alliance team for many years, supporting colleagues and partners to embed better practice across the organisation’s work.

A former British number one singles player and four-time Paralympian, Jayant enjoyed an extraordinary career in wheelchair tennis, including becoming the first Wimbledon wheelchair men’s doubles champion in 2005. In 2024, he was honoured at Wimbledon in recognition of his achievements and contribution to the sport.

Since retiring from competition in 2007, Jayant has continued to champion disability sport through coaching, commentary, and his work with Activity Alliance. His passion, expertise, and lived experience have inspired colleagues and countless disabled people across the sector.

We thank Jayant for his dedication over the years and wish him a long, happy, and well-earned retirement.
