New webinar: Annual Disability and Activity Survey research briefing
The Activity Alliance Annual Disability and Activity Survey (ADAS) has provided in-depth insights into issues that matter most to disabled people about sports and activities since 2019. Join us for a webinar on Tuesday 23 June at 11:30 to explore the findings of the latest edition.
Join Activity Alliance to explore research findings from the latest Annual Disability and Activity Survey, set to be released in June 2026. As well as a presentation of the research findings, this webinar involves disabled people sharing their lived experiences.
During the webinar:
- Molly O’Brien, Activity Alliance Senior Research and Insight Advisor will present data and insight on disabled people’s experiences and perceptions of sport and activity, including key findings and concluding recommendations.
- Kathryn Hall, True Insights Research Director, will hold a discussion with 3 disabled people who participated in the focus groups, sharing their experiences and views.
The research compliments Sport England’s Active Lives survey, which shows disabled people are twice as likely to be inactive compared to non-disabled people (39.3% vs 19.7%). Activity Alliance’s research explores experiences and issues of importance to disabled people. This year’s findings focus on:
- Participation and inclusion
- Health, Wellbeing and social connection.
- Costs and access.
- Representation, belonging and involvement.
- Accessible spaces
