Activity Alliance research tender: ADAS Children and Young People

We are seeking a research partner or agency to support us in delivering an Annual Disability and Activity Survey to children and young people and their respective parents or caregivers. The survey aims to understand how disabled young people belong in sports and activity. The deadline for proposals is Friday 19 June 2026.

Activity Alliance is a national charity and leading voice for disabled people in sport and activity. Our vision is a future where all disabled people feel they belong in sports and activities.

We work with disabled people and an alliance of committed partners, to embed inclusive practices and change attitudes. Since 2019, we have conducted an Annual Disability and Activity Survey, providing valuable insights into how disabled adults experience sports and activity and the barriers that prevent greater levels of activity.

This year, we aim to conduct an annual survey with children and young people and their respective parents or caregivers. This would be the first year we conduct the Annual Disability and Activity Survey with young people.

The aim is to build on existing insights around young disabled people’s lived experiences and explore intersectional trends that highlight inequalities in opportunity, access and belonging in sports and activity.

Who do we want to work with

We are seeking a research partner or agency to lead on delivering a large-scale, accessible online survey designed for completion by children and young people aged 5-16, alongside parents or caregivers. The research partner will be responsible for scripting, hosting and distributing the survey to the sample population for responses.
