Join us in July for the first event in our 2026 Inclusive Activity Programme (IAP) webinar series. This session will focus on sensory and complex disabilities.

We’re excited to bring you the first of four webinars in our IAP learner series, aimed at those who have completed Inclusive Activity Programme (IAP) training, building on the skills you have developed throughout your course.

In this free 30-minute event, taking place on Tuesday 21 July at 2pm, you’ll discover practical ways to make activity more inclusive for disabled people with complex needs. You’ll also learn key information about how to engage people with high support needs, and how to create flexible learning experiences.

The session will be led by IAP tutor Callan Barber, who is also Active Manager at leading disability charity, Sense.

New series of learning events

This event is one of four learning events designed for people that have completed IAP training, however we welcome anyone who would like further insight into the Inclusive Activity Programme. These events build on the success of the 2025 series of online learner events. The next three events will take place in September and November 2026, and February 2027. We’ll bring you more information and sign-up details in the coming months.

What is the Inclusive Activity Programme?

Our CIMPSA accredited Inclusive Activity Programme (IAP) equips you with the skills to engage disabled people and people with long-term health conditions more effectively in physical activity. It will help you:

  • Feel confident and competent including disabled people in activities.
  • Use different tools to deliver more inclusive activities.
  • Apply a person-centred approach to your planning and delivery.
  • Adapt activities to ensure inclusion and progression for all.

It’s available to study as a three-hour practical workshop and a one-hour interactive eLearning course.
