IAP learner webinar series: new events released
Take a look at our webinar calendar, with an exciting series of online events scheduled for those that have completed Inclusive Activity Programme (IAP) training.
Our new series of IAP learner webinars continue with the next event, focused on inclusive PE, taking place in September. These 30-minute online events are a great opportunity to discover practical ways to make activity more inclusive for disabled people. The webinars are ideal for learners who have completed Inclusive Activity Programme (IAP) training, building on the skills you have developed throughout your course, but anyone is welcome to attend.
The next three events will take place in September and November 2026, and February 2027. Details and the links to sign-up are listed below.
Making PE inclusive for all: practical approaches for schools
Date and time: Monday 7 September – 3.30pm
This IAP for schools focussed webinar will help you to make PE more inclusive for all pupils. Led by IAP tutor Rob Belbin, you can learn and share practical tips for delivering activities and providing ideas for linking inclusive activity to your SEND school plans.

Adapting activities for deaf people
Date and time: Tuesday 10 November – 11am
Learn how IAP can support you to adapt activities for deaf people. You'll find out more about the motivations and barriers for deaf people and how to create inclusive environments. The session will be led by IAP tutor and UK Deaf Sport's Participation Manager, Shannon Howarth.

Making activities inclusive for all: from design to delivery
Date and time: Monday 8 February – 12.45pm
Explore practical ways to make activities inclusive for groups with mixed abilities and diverse backgrounds. Led by IAP tutor Katy Cuddington, you will learn how to design sessions that foster belonging, engagement, and equal participation.

What is the Inclusive Activity Programme?
Our CIMPSA accredited Inclusive Activity Programme (IAP) equips you with the skills to engage disabled people and people with long-term health conditions more effectively in physical activity. It will help you:
- Feel confident and competent including disabled people in activities.
- Use different tools to deliver more inclusive activities.
- Apply a person-centred approach to your planning and delivery.
- Adapt activities to ensure inclusion and progression for all.
It’s available to study as a three-hour practical workshop and a one-hour interactive eLearning course.
