HFE set to contribute to Activity Alliance through new campaign
Health and fitness education provider HFE has launched the Callum Foster Inclusive Coaching Scholarship Fund, the first initiative under its new Movement for Everyone campaign, created to help build a more inclusive health and fitness industry.
The scholarship will provide three fully funded places on HFE’s Level 3 Exercise for Disability & Impairments course, supporting coaches who want to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to better support disabled people through movement.
As part of the Movement for Everyone campaign HFE will also be partnering with Activity Alliance. They are donating 25% of eligible course sales to the organisation in the next three months.
The initiative has been created in partnership with HFE graduate and disability advocate Callum Foster, whose own experience demonstrates how specialist education can help create a new generation of coaches equipped to make movement genuinely accessible to everyone.
Following his HFE qualification, Callum developed his expertise in disability fitness and has gone on to support more disabled people to experience the physical, social and emotional benefits of movement. Through his coaching and social media platforms, where he reaches millions, he continues to champion greater access to inclusive fitness and inspire others to rethink what’s possible.
Reflecting on the scholarship, Callum said:
"I'm incredibly proud that HFE chose to put my name to this. The course genuinely changed the way I coach. I want to see a world where disabled people don't have to fight for access to movement, and where every coach feels equipped and confident to support them. This scholarship is a powerful step towards creating more coaches who believe in that too. I’m excited to see the difference they go on to make."
At the heart of Movement for Everyone is a simple belief: access to movement should not be limited by disability. Visible or invisible. The campaign brings together education, advocacy and practical action to help challenge the barriers that still exist across the fitness industry.
HFE Managing Director, Lee Cain said:
"We’re delighted to be partnering with Activity Alliance on this campaign and supporting the fantastic work they do. We share the same passion for raising standards, educating and inspiring people, and most importantly, creating opportunities where individuals can thrive, irrespective of their needs. We’re also pleased to be able to support Activity Alliance further through the campaign, with 25% of eligible course sales going towards their work over the next three months."
Chloe Studley, Head of Workforce at Activity Alliance, said:
"We’re incredibly grateful to HFE for choosing to partner with Activity Alliance through the Movement for Everyone campaign. Their commitment to supporting more inclusive coaching and helping disabled people experience the benefits of movement is closely aligned with our own work. We’re excited to work together to help create a more inclusive sector, and we thank HFE for their generous support of Activity Alliance and our work to ensure everyone can be active in a way that works for them."
Applications open on 28 August 2026 and close on 18 September 2026.
The scholarship is for coaches who hold, or are currently working towards, a Level 2 health and fitness qualification and want to be part of creating a fitness industry where disabled people can feel supported, confident and included.
