Have your say: help shape our policy and influencing work
We’re asking disabled people and Activity Alliance Supporters to share their views on the policy issues that affect disabled people’s opportunities to be active.
Policy decisions can have a significant impact on disabled people’s experiences of sports and physical activity. From the opportunities available in local communities to the cost of being active and the support people can access.
We want to better understand which policy issues matter most, how changes in policy affect people’s opportunities to be active, and how Activity Alliance can involve people more meaningfully in our policy and influencing work.
To help us build this understanding, we’re running two surveys.
For Activity Alliance Supporters
We’re inviting our Activity Alliance Supporters to complete our Supporters’ survey: Influencing policy and decision making in sports and activities.
The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. Your views will help us understand which policy issues most affect supporters and disabled people’s experiences of sport and physical activity, and how we can strengthen our policy influencing work.

For disabled people
We’re also inviting disabled people to share their experiences and views through our Disabled people: Influencing policy and decision making in sports and activities survey.
We want to hear directly from disabled people about the policy issues that affect their opportunities to be active, how policy changes have influenced their experiences, and how Activity Alliance can make sure disabled people are meaningfully involved in our policy and influencing work.
The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.

You may complete both surveys if appropriate as the questions differ. All survey responses are confidential and will be reported anonymously. The insight gathered will be used to strengthen Activity Alliance’s policy and influencing work and help us focus on the issues that matter most to disabled people and our supporters.
Please note the deadline to complete either survey is Sunday 11 October.
Both surveys support a range of accessibility options, which can be turned on from the list provided within each survey. By sharing your views, you can help us ensure that the experiences of disabled people are reflected in the policies and decisions that shape opportunities to be active.
