New cricket club for people with visual impairments in Baildon

A new cricket club for people with a visual impairment is proving a big hit in Bradford. Led by coaches from the Yorkshire Cricket Board and two assistants who themselves have a visual impairment the club has started thanks to West Yorkshire Sports Creating Connections project.

Visually Impaired Cricket- Wednesdays 4 pm – 5 pm

Baildon Recreation Centre (moving to Tuesdays at Hanson School from New Year)

The Sessions cover batting, bowling and fielding and end with a short game each week. The club uses adapted equipment to help participants master the skills of the game.
