Coventry to welcome top young athletes from across the UK
Future stars are set to shine at the National Junior Para Athletics Championships 2025 this weekend.

Two days of incredible athletics action will take place at Coventry Athletics Track, Warwick University across Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 July.
From beginners to established athletes, the National Junior Para Athletics Championships offer an opportunity for young disabled athletes to compete in a major event. For the very first time, to offer more competitive opportunities for all disabled people, there will also be some track events for adults.
Ahead of the event Adam Blaze, Activity Alliance CEO said:
"Whether you’re an athlete, coach, family member or friend, this weekend is about more than medals. It’s about making new friends, discovering what you can do, and growing your love for athletics together.
"To every athlete, push your limits, and give it your all. Go out there, have fun, make memories and celebrate every moment. Make this the best weekend ever."
Whilst gold medals will be up for grabs, the event can also play a pivotal part in helping a young athlete reach their potential. Over the years, this junior event has helped launch Paralympic stars like Hannah Cockroft, Kare Adenegan and Aled Davies.
The Championships would not be a success without the help of our dedicated volunteers. Activity Alliance would like to take this opportunity to thank all of those that play a part in hosting the competition.
